India's MMRCA competition

The Government of India, would very much like to buy a US jet Fighter, for its MMRCA requirement. But according to certain 'school of thought', India might show reluctance, mainly due to possible foreseeable US pressure & economic sanctions against India, in case of a war in the sub-continent ! Some sort of an assurance (a guarantee) from the USA, that IT would not interefere, but rather support, would be more than sufficient for India, buying everything all American ! Perhaps a permanent United Nation Security Council seat for India !

Double-Engine Aircraft:
My 1st Choice: Super Hornet F/A-18 E/F (USA; Boeing)
My 2nd Choice: Eurofighter Typhoon(Germany, Italy, Spain & United Kingdom; EADS)

My 3rd Choice: Dassault Rafale (FRANCE; Dassault Aviation)

US_'BOEING' is also campaigning aggressively to clinch the Indian MMRCA deal, with the 'Super Hornet' F18E/F (GE414-400 Turbofan enhanced performance engine (EPE) & RAYTHEON APG-79 AESA Radar). This modified F18E/F with 30% more thrust & advanced AESA is a leading contender for Indian Air Force MMRCA project; along with Russia's MIG35. The Indian order for 200 Medium Multi Role Combat Aircraft is supposed to be split between F18EF (125) and MIG35 (75) or vici-versa. Boeing will be transfering full technology for F18EF, so that the 'Super Hornet' can be locally manufactured in INDIA !!
