The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) & Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)has been designed and written by the staff of Educational Testing Services It is used by many Graduate schools of Arts & Sciences & Business and Management as one criterion in considering applications for admission to their Graduate programs. These tests are used by both schools and students in evaluating verbal and mathematical skills as well as general knowledge and preparation for Graduate study. The tests measure your Analytical writing, Quantative & Verbal skills. There are about 75 questions and you are allowed 3 1/2 hours to complete the test. These tests not only measure how much you know but also how fast you can think (Critical thinking process) analyze correctly. Most graduate schools require scores of > 500+ to admit students in their programs.I have taken the GMAT test, thrice & scored a maximum of 410 points. I have to take the test again and score 500 or > before I can start my MBA degree anywhere in the United States of America. At the present moment, I am getting ready to take the GRE test. I have to score 1000 or > in order to be accepted, by the Graduate School of Computer Science.
