BOEING has sold the Indian Navy 8 'Poseidon P8I'; with an option to sell 16 more. BOEINGS P-8I Poseidon, (LRMR) Long Range Maritime Reconnaissance aicraft, is a derivative of B737-800 series. This is the most advanced Anti-submarine aircraft being developed with latest Active Electronic Steered Array (AESA) radar & electronic warfare systems aboard.
